Mississippi's Broadband Promise


The MS Delta Expansion Coalition welcomes you to FairBroadbandMS.org.

Our mission is to ensure that every community in Mississippi gains access to ​reliable high-speed internet. The state of Mississippi has been allocated $1.3 ​billion for broadband expansion, but current plans based on inaccurate maps ​risk leaving our rural and underserved communities behind. We need your help to ​ensure fair and equitable distribution of these funds.

Get Involved

  • Participate in the Speed Test: From August 1 to September 1, by taking ​a simple internet speed test at home. Your participation is crucial in ​ensuring our communities receive the internet access they deserve.
  • Please call us at 601-321-1966 if you are concerned about your ​internet speed and reliability and need help running a broadband test.
  • Spread the Word: Share this initiative with your friends, family, and ​neighbors to ensure widespread participation.

The "Every Home Connected: Mississippi's Broadband Promise" grassroots ​campaign, led by the MS Delta Broadband Expansion Coalition, is dedic​ated to ensuring every community in Mississippi has access to reliable hig​h-speed internet. For too long, many rural and underserved areas have be​en left behind. We are here to change that by challenging inaccurate br​oadband coverage maps and advocating for a fair distribution of the $1.3 ​billion allocated for broadband exp​a​nsion.

    1. If you are concerned about your internet speed and reliability or need help running a ​broadband test, please call us at 601-321-1966. Our team is ready to assist you with the ​testing process to ensure your community's needs are accurately represented.
  2. Visit FairBroadbandMS.org
    • From August 1 to September 1, run the broadband speed test and submit your results to help ​us create an accurate broadband map.
  3. Spread the Word
    • Help spread the word about this important campaign on your social networks and via email.
